Why why why?
Full credit to Hoags for giving it a shot.
But don't waste your time. Do you like jokes about how the American police force are good sorts who only need you to 'not act stupid'
Or using the name of a Black actor as a punchline about 'political correctness gone mad'
How about watching Australasian actors like Roy Billing, Julia Morris and Kerry Armstrong being forced to don US accents for blink-and-miss character roles - while the most cringe-worthy ancient comedians who are known for their aggressively anti-woke attitudes (and nasty social media accounts) act like they're the oh-so-hilarious heroes?
What about a film that forgets that there was in fact a fourth film about the 'son of Dundee' and pretends a reboot is something wanted in 2020?
Let alone a weird American interpretation of what's involved with how a monarchy works. Even Wikipedia can get that right.
Thankfully this "Dun-don't" didn't hit mainstream cinemas and will hopefully sink to the bottom of Amazon's view lists once someone gets a tax refund off this woeful effort to waste money.
A missed opportunity to do something fresh and new for Australian cinema. What a surprise.

Looking at the list of reviews, i expected this to be complete waste of time. However i thoroughly enjoyed this film. There are enough glimpses of the absurdities that are thrust upon celebrities by the media, and this film pokes fun at them, while giving us a few real glimpses into what celebs have to put up with. This film was made to be fun and i feel that it shows through. It was great to see the many cameos of some great comedians/actors/entertainers. All in all, I am left with a pleasant experience from this film.
